What is a Rolling Rodeo?

A simulated road course with instruction in biking and rolling safely.

We hope to be bringing this fun program to your school in Talbot County in 2026! Each Rodeo includes:

• Free helmets and water bottles
• Demo bikes for kids who do not have a bike
• Learning the ABCs of bike safety
• Riding the simulated road course with your classmates!

I Rolling Rodeos danno ai bambini l'opportunità di imparare le abilità di base della guida della bicicletta, le pratiche di guida sicura e l'importanza di indossare il casco.

Sia che girino in città, sui sentieri o sulle strade di campagna della contea, è importante che i ragazzi conoscano le regole della strada e sappiano come tenersi al sicuro quando vanno in bicicletta, con lo skateboard o con i pattini in mezzo al traffico.

Through a series of fun, interactive activities on a protected obstacle course, kids will learn how to navigate roadways, understand traffic signals, and practice safe biking techniques. With expert guidance and plenty of encouragement, kids will gain confidence on their wheels and discover the excitement of riding, rolling, and exploring the world around them.

I partecipanti all'evento riceveranno un certificato ufficiale di completamento e un adesivo Rolling Rodeo per il loro casco o dispositivo di rotolamento.

L'evento comprenderà anche:

• Consegna del casco e adattamento: L'uso corretto del casco è fondamentale per la sicurezza in bicicletta. I bambini che partecipano all'iniziativa riceveranno un casco personalizzato e gratuito da portare a casa. 
• Riparazione e controllo della bicicletta: For those who bring their own bikes, our volunteers will be available to make sure bikes are in good operating condition and that tires are properly inflated. Our youngest riders will be helped with learning to balance on a bike.
• Demo Bikes: Don’t worry if your child doesn’t have a bike. We will be bringing a fleet of bikes for use by participants in the program.
