What is a Rolling Rodeo?

A simulated road course with instruction in biking and rolling safely.

We hope to be bringing this fun program to your school in Talbot County in 2026! Each Rodeo includes:

• Free helmets and water bottles
• Demo bikes for kids who do not have a bike
• Learning the ABCs of bike safety
• Riding the simulated road course with your classmates!

Rolling Rodeos geben Kindern die Möglichkeit, grundlegende Fähigkeiten des Fahrradfahrens, sichere Fahr- und Rollmethoden und die Bedeutung des Tragens eines Helms zu erlernen.

Egal, ob sie in der Stadt, auf Wanderwegen oder auf den Landstraßen des Landes unterwegs sind, es ist wichtig, dass Kinder die Verkehrsregeln kennen und wissen, wie sie sich beim Fahren, Skateboarden oder Skaten im Straßenverkehr schützen können.

Through a series of fun, interactive activities on a protected obstacle course, kids will learn how to navigate roadways, understand traffic signals, and practice safe biking techniques. With expert guidance and plenty of encouragement, kids will gain confidence on their wheels and discover the excitement of riding, rolling, and exploring the world around them.

Die Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung erhalten eine offizielle Teilnahmebescheinigung und einen Rolling Rodeo-Aufkleber für ihren Helm oder ihr Rolling Device.

Die Veranstaltung umfasst auch:

• Helmvergabe und -anpassung: Das richtige Tragen eines Helms ist für die Sicherheit auf dem Fahrrad entscheidend. Die teilnehmenden Kinder erhalten einen KOSTENLOSEN, individuell angepassten Helm, den sie mit nach Hause nehmen können. 
• Fahrradreparatur und Check Up: For those who bring their own bikes, our volunteers will be available to make sure bikes are in good operating condition and that tires are properly inflated. Our youngest riders will be helped with learning to balance on a bike.
• Demo Bikes: Don’t worry if your child doesn’t have a bike. We will be bringing a fleet of bikes for use by participants in the program.
