Lets Make a Mural

A Mural Made by Our Community, For Our Community

Talbot Thrive is hoping to bring a vibrant new mural to the Easton Rail Trail — and we want it to reflect your voice!

Share what a thriving community means to you, and help shape a piece of public art that will inspire walkers, runners, cyclists, and neighbors for years to come.

Where Art Meets Active Living

The Easton Rail Trail is more than a path. It’s where neighbors wave hello, families take their first bike rides, and our community moves together. It could be home to a brand-new mural — a colorful celebration of who we are and what we value.

But before a single brushstroke is painted, we want to hear from you.

This mural belongs to all of us. The themes, the imagery, and the feeling it evokes will be shaped by the words and reflections of the people who live, work, walk, and roll through Talbot County. Local artists and community volunteers will translate your voices into a piece of public art that celebrates the heart of our community!

What Does a Thriving Community Mean to You?

It’s a simple question with a thousand right answers.

Maybe it’s a cup of coffee at your favorite spot or a wave from a stranger on the trail. Maybe it’s families out together enjoying the outdoors or safe sidewalks for your kids. Maybe it’s a vibrant town center and busy parks. Or maybe it’s riding your bike or running on the trail with the wind in your hair.

Whatever it means to you, we want to know.

Your response — whether it’s a single word, a sentence, or a story — could shape what’s painted along the Rail Trail. Take a moment. Share your voice. Help us paint a picture of the community we’re building together.
