Grant brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in digital marketing and strategic leadership, making her an ideal candidate to drive Talbot Thrive&#8217;s mission forward. She has been an active member of the organization&#8217;s Board and one of the increasingly engaged and passionate community members since its inception three years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With history in the public, private and non-profit realm, Grant&#8217;s vast experience will surely enable Talbot Thrive to have an instant influence on the mission of the organization. Most recently, she served as the Digital Marketing Manager at The <a href=\"https:\/\/associated.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore,<\/a> where she devised comprehensive digital marketing strategies which aligned with organizational goals. Her expertise in generating engaging content, overseeing web presence, and utilizing data analysis to measure campaign performance will be invaluable to Talbot Thrive&#8217;s outreach efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her commitment to community engagement and tailored marketing approaches was demonstrated during Grant\u2019s tenure as Installation Marketing Director for the Navy in Annapolis. There, she successfully developed and executed marketing strategies within the Naval community, fostering positive brand images and raising awareness for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navymwrannapolis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fleet &amp; Family programs.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her dedication to promoting community events and programs was further showcased in her role as Marketing Director for the <a href=\"https:\/\/waterfowlfestival.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waterfowl Festival<\/a> in Easton, MD, where she coordinated marketing strategies, negotiated with media outlets, managed all the Festival\u2019s social media presence and launched the 2021 redesign of the festival&#8217;s website, which incorporated e-commerce functionality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grant holds a Master of Arts in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in Journalism from the University of New Hampshire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We are pleased to welcome Heather as our new Executive Director,&#8221; said Cameron Mactavish of Oxford, Talbot Thrive\u2019s newly appointed Board President. &#8220;Her diverse background, strategic vision, and passion for community engagement make her the perfect fit to lead Talbot Thrive as we continue to promote healthier, sustainable transportation options in Talbot County.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When asked about this new step within the organization, Easton\u2019s Mayor Megan Cook had this to say, \u201cI am thrilled that Heather Grant is the new Executive Director of Talbot Thrive. Her passion for promoting bike-ability and her commitment to enhancing safety in our town makes her the perfect leader.
